The Main Stage also had a panel debate entitled: Reinventing the World through Tech – Women in tech. The panel featuring Belinda Parmar, CEO of the Empathy Business, Chris Parke, CEO of Talking Talent, and Heidi Spirgi, SVP Product & Services, The Marcus Buckingham Company, discussed the root causes behind the lack of women in technology and how this is harming innovation and our collective future and what leading organisations are doing about it.
“This year's keynote line-up further demonstrated that gender equality, the HR implications of Brexit, and other international pressures continue to present new challenges for HR departments in 2017,” said Marc Coleman, CEO of HRN, the organisers behind HR Tech World shows. “However we are also seeing some fantastic, disruptive technologies emerging such as Cognitive HR that leverages the power of cognitive computing and big data to open up a new world of possibilities for both employees and companies. I'm very proud that the community we built over the last 6 years is having such a powerful impact on shaping the Future of Work!”
